1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of worldlawalliance.com and WLA services provided by [World Law Alliance legal entity name]. By using WLA you accept them. Separate written terms apply to designations (including the Corridor Leadership Agreement) and to product orders, and prevail where they conflict.
2. What WLA is and is not
WLA is an institution that provides cross-border legal intelligence, decision mapping, orchestration and introductions to independent WLA partner firms. WLA is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
Legal advice is given only by a partner firm that you engage directly, on that firm's own terms. Each partner firm is independent and solely responsible for its advice and work.
3. Information and Ask WLA
Content on the site, WLA Intelligence and Ask WLA outputs are general information and orientation. They may not reflect the latest legal position and must not be relied on as legal advice.
Items marked as needing local review have not been verified. Deliverables described as verified are verified only as stated in the product terms for that order.
4. Accounts
You must give accurate information, keep credentials secure and tell us of any unauthorised use. Client and firm administrators are responsible for users they invite.
5. WLA products
Scope, fees, timing and deliverables for products such as the Cross-Border Legal Map™ are confirmed in writing before you order. Fees are payable as stated in the order. [Refund and cancellation terms to confirm.]
6. Partner firms and designations
Designations are granted under the WLA Qualified™ standard, reviewed annually and may be suspended or withdrawn. A designation does not guarantee introductions, mandates or any volume of work.
Firms are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles and for holding the permissions needed to publish photographs and matter descriptions.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse WLA, including by attempting unauthorised access, scraping, reverse engineering, uploading malicious code, submitting unlawful content, or using Ask WLA to generate content that infringes rights or misleads.

You keep rights in what you submit and grant WLA a licence to use it to provide the services.
9. Confidentiality
WLA treats briefs and matter information as confidential and shares them only as needed to provide the service, including with the partner firms you ask to be introduced to.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WLA is not liable for advice or work of partner firms, for decisions taken on the basis of general information or Ask WLA outputs, or for indirect or consequential loss. WLA's total liability for any product is limited to the fees paid for that product. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
