Wairimu holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from The Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from The Kenya School of Law. She is a certified Arbitrator, Legal Auditor and Data Governance expert. Her memberships include The Law Society of Kenya, East African Law Society, FIDA Kenya and The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
She has diverse experience from both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Wairimu has worked at Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews and Kenya Power & Lighting Company Limited.
Her areas of expertise are energy law, corporate and commercial law, data governance and privacy law, public procurement law, legal and regulatory compliance and dispute resolution.Her attention to detail, drive for perfection and results-based approach have been an asset in handling the complex nature of transactions within the Corporate and Commercial Department.
