Narendra is an all-round litigator and has more than 9 years of fruitful experience representing multinational companies and conglomerates in high profile tort and breach of contract cases. Prior to establishing T&P, Narendra was a Senior Associate at a prominent corporate law firm affiliated to one of the largest law firms in the world, during which he has taken a major role in and is acknowledged as the leading strategist in numerous complex commercial disputes in the fields of banking, employment, transportation, anti-corruption, information-technology, entertainment, aviation, taxation, agrarian, construction, and bankruptcy and suspension of debt payments.

Narendra is well-known for his solid fundamental knowledge of law, not only of substantive law but also procedural law, and his strong sense of business, both of which are important to navigate legal strategy. He also values the importance of understanding basic legal principles and conquering the relevant sources of law such as customary law, legal doctrines and permanent court decisions which therefore enable him to always provide a rock-solid legal argument. His clients also benefit from his responsive and punctual legal service, things that are instrumental in triggering repeat orders from his growing list of clients.

Narendra holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of University of Airlangga majoring in business law (2008). His main practices include commercial litigation, employment, alternative dispute settlement, bankruptcy and suspension of debt payments. He is a licensed advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).

Narendra’s notable mandates include:

  • ​Assisting an aircraft leasing company in negotiating and activating Irrevocable Deregistration (IDERA) against an Indonesian airline due to breach of contract.
  • Assisting Asialink Airlines in its restructuring program
  • Assisting Sky Aviation in relation to its proposed cooperation agreement with some airlines in ASEAN.
  • Assisting an aircraft leasing company in reviewing its agreements with its leasee.
  • Successfully represented Helizona, an aircraft operator, in a commercial dispute (breach of contract) on the proposed termination of the aircraft sale and purchase agreement.
  • Representing a subsidiary of an Indonesian state-owned enterprise in relation to in the investigation by KPPU with regard to alleged violations of certain provisions of Indonesian Competition Law; *
  • Assisting Krakatau Steel in several acquisition projects involving some companies within the group.
  • Assisting Dassault Systemes Solidworks Corporation in addressing illicit use of its software in Indonesian territory; *
  • Assisting CNC Software Inc. in addressing illicit use of its software in Indonesian territory; *
  • Representing PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) in a land dispute matter;
  • Representing Bass Oil Limited in an environmental class action lawsuit seeking the annulment of oil concession agreement;
  • Representing PT Energi Tanjung Tiga in relation to a dispute against an oilfield service company;
  • Representing PT PJB Services in relation to its dispute with an independent power producer with regard to an O&M contract;
  • Advising Trelleborg Indonesia (member of Trelleborg AB) on structuring corporate governance
  • Advising BDO Bisnis Solusi Indonesia (in association with BDO Global Coordination B.V.) in various commercial matters; *
  • Assisting Sansure (HK) Biotech Co. Limited in establishing PT Sansure Biotech Indonesia and registering its medical devices under the exclusive brand name “HONGSHI”; * and
  • Assisting Medcaptain Medical Technology (Hong Kong) Limited in establishing PT Medcaptain Medical Indonesia and registering its medical devices in Indonesia.*
