A graduate of The University of Chicago and Columbia University, Mr. Berne attended law school at the Saint Louis University School of Law, Université d’Orléans, the Sorbonne Law School (Paris I) and the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). Mr. Berne is enrolled as an avocat in the Bar of Paris, a licensed Illinois Attorney and Counselor at Law, and accredited as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and Data Privacy Protection Specialist (DPPS). Mr. Berne also teaches Economics and International Business Law as an adjunct professor at the Rennes School of Business and the ILERI School of International Relations.
