Andrej’s journey in the legal environment is influenced by the pursuit of diverse experiences and a passion for simplifying complexities. His journey led through large corporations, where he honed his skills among the stalwarts of the legal profession. At KPMG, he delved into the nuances of taxation, revealing a complex web of financial regulations. The corridors of Freshfields, with its international aura, offered him a global perspective and shaped his understanding of cross-border legal matters. These experiences laid the foundation for his future endeavours.

In 2009, Andrej became a registered attorney and entered the sphere where words had the power to shape destinies. Armed with his expertise, he embarked on the journey of independence in 2024, still believing in the simplicity and friendliness that legal services can offer. This is how the concept of “lawfriendly” was born – proof of his belief that the legal world does not have to be intimidating, but accessible and welcoming.

Andrej’s linguistic prowess added layers to his professional arsenal. He speaks Slovak, English, German fluently as well as Norwegian, tries to overcome language barriers with ease and connects with clients across borders and cultures.

However, his ambitions exceeded the boundaries of traditional legal practice. Andrej also acts as a bankruptcy trustee and lends his expertise to the advisory committee of the Slovak Public Procurement Authority. His determination to contribute to the better functioning of the country is also reflected in these roles, where it is more than necessary to move with caution and integrity.

Outside his office, Andrej embraced life with a desire to explore and go outside his comfort zone. He goes to unexplored territories, discovers new places, navigates hills on a mountain bike or cuts through snowy slopes on skis, from the Slovak Carpathians to the Georgian Caucasus or Japanese volcanoes. His adventurous spirit reached its peak when he became the first Slovak attorney to conquer the British Columbia cycling race – proof of his tenacity and love of challenges.

Andrej does not deny that he is an individualist in the legal world – a supporter of simplicity, friendliness and a discoverer of new horizons. His journey is not just about practicing law, but about redefining its essence, one step at a time.

– active Slovak lawyer representing foreign construction company being a contractor in the highway project towards local authorities, courts, and local subcontractors. 

– working as team leader representing an IT distributor in the competition proceedings on alleged cartel agreement towards the Slovak Antimonopoly Office and the courts with risk of fines of a total of 4,28 million EUR.

– Demonstrating litigation skills in many cases including critical ones, especially to clients with needs beyond Slovak law and coordinating activities of lawyers in various countries.

– Recovered 200k EUR back for the investors from Switzerland, Brazil, and South Africa under coordinated procedure from the unsuccessful Slovak based start-up for mobile health diagnostic project.

– Saved over 600k EUR back for the Ghana-based company from the fraud scheme that occurred in Slovakia in an almost-mission-impossible case.

– As an active bankruptcy trustee being lawyer supporting the client with effective advisory on how to mitigate risks of bankruptcy and going out of business. Track record of complete liquidation of companies with satisfied creditors.
