Erika Ruggle is the Co-Owner of Ruggle Partner, Attorneys at Law and Mediators, in Zürich. With over 20 years of professional experience, she combines legal expertise, leadership insight, and deep mediation skills.A graduate of the University of Zurich (lic. iur., Master of Law), Erika has held positions as legal counsel for major financial and industrial companies, including a Swiss reinsurance company, a private bank, and an international industrial firm in Zug.
Erika Ruggle is the Co-Owner of Ruggle Partner, Attorneys at Law and Mediators, based in Zürich, Switzerland. She brings a unique combination of legal expertise, mediation experience, and leadership insight developed through more than two decades of work across law, corporate advisory, and organizational development.
After obtaining her Licentiate in Jurisprudence (lic. iur.) from the University of Zurich in 1993, Erika completed her juridical internship at the District Attorney’s Office and the District Court, gaining strong foundations in litigation and judicial procedure. She then served as Legal Counsel at a major Swiss reinsurance company (1995–1997) and a private bank in Zürich (1997–1998).
From 2004 to 2007, Erika worked as main and sole legal counsel for an international industrial company in Zug, where she advised on corporate and commercial law, compliance, and cross-border transactions. Between 2009 and 2015, she was a member of a Zürich law firm, handling complex mandates in corporate governance, dispute resolution, and mediation.
Alongside her legal career, Erika developed a strong passion for mediation and conflict management. She completed her training as a mediator at the Forum for Family Mediation in Zürich (2000–2002) and has since actively practiced mediation in both business and family contexts. Her work often focuses on conflicts in organizations, workplace and team disputes, leadership and communication, generational conflicts, and inheritance mediation, including cases involving international couples.
From 2011 to 2013, she also served as Divisional Director and Member of the Executive Board at the Institute for Systemic Development (IEF) in Zürich, where she contributed to leadership development and systemic change projects. Additionally, she is a Certified Coach (2008–2009) and completed further training in Change Competency Skills in Aarau (2010–2014).
Erika’s broad background allows her to approach client challenges with sensitivity, structure, and pragmatism — helping individuals, families, and organizations achieve sustainable resolutions.
She is fluent in German and English, and works in French for selected projects. Outside her professional life, Erika is the mother of a daughter and a teenage son.
