Stefano Sutti, born in Milan in 1960, is a prominent lawyer and managing partner at Studio Legale Sutti, one of Italy’s leading independent law firms. He earned his JD (cum laude, 1983) and LLM (1985) in law, and studied business administration at the Catholic University of Milan. He is admitted to the Bar of Milan and the Italian Supreme Court Bar.

Stefano began his career in 1980 as a paralegal at Studio Legale Sutti, founded by Angelo Sutti in 1953. He became an associate in 1984, partner in 1989, and managing partner in 1992, overseeing the firm’s expansion into London, Tokyo, and Sofia. His practice focuses on international disputes and complex corporate cases, particularly M&A-related litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Fluent in Italian, English, and French, Stefano frequently assists clients in civil, commercial, and criminal proceedings, as well as before tax, antitrust, trade, and administrative authorities.

He has handled numerous high-profile cases, including matters in the hi-tech sector, and represented Italy at the EU Commission’s European Information Technology Conference 1996 in Brussels.
