Gemma Atares holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2000) and completed a Postgraduate Course in Legal Practice at the Barcelona Bar Association (2001–2003). She is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 2002 and pursued a Postgraduate Course in Restructuring and Insolvency Judicial Proceedings at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2007.
