Innocent Muganda is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, admitted to the bar in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B., Hons) from Moi University, obtained in 2004, and completed his Diploma in Law at the Kenya School of Law in 2006.
Beyond private practice, Innocent has held several notable public positions. He currently serves as Chairperson of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal, and has previously served as a Board Member of the National Water Harvesting and Storage Authority and the Betting Control and Licensing Board.
He is a member of both the Law Society of Kenya and the East Africa Law Society.

He has also appeared before courts at all levels, representing both corporate and individual clients in complex civil and criminal litigation involving constitutional law, urban planning, commercial disputes, debt recovery, regulatory enforcement, and administrative law.
Beyond litigation, Innocent has made significant contributions to Kenya\'s legislative and regulatory landscape. He played an instrumental role in the development of the Gambling Control Act, 2023, and championed the incorporation of mandatory Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles into Kenya\'s gaming regulatory framework. His experience in legislative drafting and regulatory reform further complements his advisory practice across highly regulated sectors.
His practice includes advising on the structuring and implementation of corporate and commercial transactions, conveyancing, banking and finance (both conventional and Shariah-compliant), project finance, public procurement, and arbitration. He regularly advises lenders and borrowers on secured lending transactions, including the preparation, negotiation, review, and perfection of security documentation, financing instruments, legal opinions, and other transaction documents.
Innocent also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, preparing governance manuals, institutional policies, and regulatory compliance frameworks, and providing strategic legal consultancy to financial institutions, corporations, and public entities on a broad spectrum of commercial and regulatory matters.
