Wairimu holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is a certified Arbitrator, Legal Auditor, and Data Governance expert with memberships in the Law Society of Kenya, East African Law Society, FIDA Kenya, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

She has gained valuable experience across both the public and private sectors, having previously worked with Dentons Hamilton Harrison & Mathews and Kenya Power & Lighting Company Limited.

Her key areas of expertise include energy law, corporate and commercial law, data governance and privacy law, public procurement law, legal and regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Known for her attention to detail, drive for excellence, and results-based approach, Wairimu has been instrumental in navigating complex transactions within the Corporate and Commercial Department.
