Reagan started his career in practice at Mainza & Company where he had interned while pursuing a bar qualification at the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) in 2008. Upon being called to the bar, Reagan had a stint in the securities Department of ABSA (then Barclays, Zambia). He returned to private practice in 2011 at Mainza & Co, then Corpus Legal Practitioners, worked as a Research Advocate for the Judiciary of Zambia from 2013 – 2016. He returned to private practice working at 3 Firms in Lusaka before setting up the practice that bears his names in 2018.
Reagan’s practice focuses on the full spectrum of energy, mining and infrastructure, and includes corporate advisory, banking and finance, dispute resolution, transactional matters: mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, private equity, foreign collaborations, due diligence, regulatory approvals including joint ventures and licensing transactions. He has extensive experience in working in the Zambia region, having acted for mining concerns, multinationals, bidders, various corporates, and private individuals.
Reagan is an author of note having authored five different titles on Zambian company law and corporate Insolvency. His expertise is also called for in board led internal investigations, corporate governance issues, general corporate advisory and strategic advice as trusted counsel.
