Louella Grech is a Maltese warranted lawyer with 16 years of experience in corporate, trust, and regulatory compliance law. She is a founding partner at Brockdorff Grech Law and holds a Master of Arts degree in Financial Services from the University of Malta. Louella began her career at KPMG Malta as a tax advisor and later led the legal team of a Maltese company forming part of a global service provider, offering corporate, trustee, and legal support to multinationals, private equity, venture capital groups, financial institutions, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

She spent nearly five years heading the legal, compliance, and corporate teams in a medium-sized Maltese law firm and held roles as compliance officer for a regulated trustee company and director/MLRO of a pensions scheme, managing legal, operational, regulatory, and anti-money laundering matters.

Louella lectures Advanced Taxation in the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) program by the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), and her work has been published in legal journals. She holds certificates in Trust Law and Management, Taxation on Trusts, and a Diploma in Taxation from the Malta Institute of Taxation.

She regularly advises clients on corporate, trust, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering matters. Louella is a member of the Chamber of Advocates (Malta), the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP), the Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT), and the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
