Muriel specializes in tax law and business law, including financial criminal law.
Muriel has particular experience in real estate (tax) law in all its aspects, which she has taught for over twenty years, in asset structuring, sale and acquisition of companies, and repatriation and regularization of capital.
Muriel is used to managing major litigation in business law and tax law (arbitration, negotiation, tax agreements and rulings, administrative and legal disputes).
She enjoys the intellectual challenge she finds in finding the most suitable solution to clients’ needs.
“Finding the most advantageous solution – always in compliance with the law – is always a challenge. But a complex tax solution that looks perfect on paper can be too complicated for the client to use on a daily basis. Each case is unique.
Tax law is also not disconnected from other branches of law and practical implementation. A detailed analysis of the clients’ concrete situation, with regard to civil law and commercial law or criminal law, as the case may be, is essential before establishing the taxation that will apply to them.
The client must receive a tailor-made solution which, depending on each person’s personal situation, will range from a simpler solution to a more complex solution, or in the event of disagreement with the tax authorities, to choose the path of an agreement or to pursue legal disputes.”
