The Diversity Committee focuses attention on inclusiveness throughout the association; identifies internal and external strategies, concerns, and recommendations to integrate inclusiveness within WLA; aligns inclusiveness with WLA’s strategic plan; monitors and evaluates diversity efforts; and brings any issues or concerns to the board.
Committee members are expected to attend the annual convention and participate in committee meetings. During the year, members provide support for ongoing projects as requested by the chair.
All committee members must be current WLA members. The committee must represent the diversity of the larger WLA membership.
